GEMUN
Aka Schools’ students attended the 27th, 28th, 29th Annual Session GEMUN Conference, held in Dallas / Texas.
Global Elementary Model United Nations, also known as GEMUN, is an extra-curricular activity in which students typically roleplay delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees.
GEMUN is an excellent hands-on approach to learning in a global context. By role-playing, our delegates learned about other countries, cultures and international relationships, while developing a global perspective on real issues confronting the world community today, and acquiring many transferable skills.
As new generations, they tried to take control of the world-wide problems, to solve up-to-date issues and come to a conclusion that everyone can agree on maintaining the world peace.
Our students felt very lucky to make lots of friends from different countries who were there to represent various nations.
